Newmanstown Vol. Fire Co.

Station 34

Apparatus Update - Brush 34

After many months of hard work the fire company is finally set to purchase a new brush truck.  This unit will be a Ford F550 diesel, with an EBY flat bed. The flat bed will have custom cabinets along with a new "skid unit" pump.

The skid unit will be purchased with funds received from being awarded a forestry grant, and from our Ladies Auxiliary.

A special thank you goes out to the members of the Ladies Auxiliary for their continued support of the fire company!

Check back soon for more updates about this new unit.

Talk to your kids about fire safety; by teaching the youth of our community the importance of fire prevention, you can help prevent and stop fires from even occurring.  However, fire safety is not just for the youth. It is just as important for adults to practice these same techniques.
